For years friends have been
raving about the Crested Butte Colorado area, with many travelling there
summer after summer and others purchasing condos in the area.
So I finally decided to check out this area and learn what all the fuss is
about. The more I have looked into Crested Butte, the clearer it
becomes why it is among the premier fly fishing and family destinations in
the west. .

Target: The main fishing pursuit here will be rainbows and browns,
with a few cutthroat mixed it. We will experience a mixture of
walk-and-wade, float fishing and some probably private water as well.
The famous Gunnison is the attraction for float fishing. The Taylor
River is within reach as well. Our guides will have access to private
water if we need it. There is no shortage of great fishing water in
this area!
Accommodations: We have reserved a condo in Crested Butte which
sleeps 5 to 6. Restaurants here are casual and we can slip in for a
great dinner soon after fishing.
Lodge capacity is limited to 6.
