Fish Rivenridge at Piney Forks, our private property nestled amidst the George Washington National Forest, with an Angler's Lane guide. One moment you can catch colorful native brook trout in the North Fork of the Piney, a freestone stream which otherwise is difficult to access. You can savor the beauty and solitude of this wonderful stream and may want to spend the whole day there charming up "the natives!"
On the South Fork you can enjoy 10" to 20" stocked brookies, beautiful native brook trout up to 12" and frisky wild brown trout which have moved up from the Big Piney in recent years. Those seeking the largest fish will love the pond where anglers can pull in sizable rainbow up to 5 pounds among brown and brook trout.
Rivenridge is fly fishing only, catch and release. As one of our guides (Tom) aptly said, "We prefer not to kill our business associates!"
For a great combination of beauty and fishing enjoyment, treat yourself, a friend or someone you love to a Rivenridge trip.
